This place is great. The owner (I assume?) is incredibly friendly, helpful, efficient, and knowledgable. He's done everything from helping me ship a large, fragile guitar, to selling me just a few $1 boxes to mail small items. I've observed him being totally patient with more complicated customer situations, and am so happy this place is there for all my shipping needs. Thanks!

Today I experienced the kindest and best service from John. I have always used The Package Store for all my Amazon returns. Today there was a bit of a hiccup in my return and John helped me tremendously and saved me a second trip. He is kind and helpful. The staff here have always been very kind and helpful, very clear on my options whenever I use their business. I really like using this business when I have a larger package to mail to get the best options and prices for shipping my packages. Their new location (previously in the Big Y plaza in Southampton) is in an easy to access spot as well.

If shipping Fed Ex take the trip to Hatfield or Chicopee. Store policy seems to be to add an inch to the dimensions of your package and go by "estimated" weight of what a package of that size would cost. This policy was reiterated to me by the Fed Ex sales person for this "retail" store. Grossly overcharged due to this policy. I shutter to think how much and how often my family and friends have been over charged by this process. Take the drive and save the money, your wallet will thank you.

Normally very good place for shipping but today (a Saturday )they were closed at noon when they were supposed to be open until 2pm.

These guys were great! They saved our butts when we were moving across the country and we waited until the last minute to ship everything. We tried packing our stuff ourself but ended up making things too heavy, so they unpacked what we had packed, and we brought the rest of our stuff and they re-packed everything! Nothing was damaged, Eric packed it so well - my boyfriend even trusted him with one of his vintage guitars. There was even a nice note wishing us well in our new life on the other side in one of our boxes.The Package Store made a pretty stressful time in our lives much easier - they rock!
