Client Review on Physician Services, Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph
Feedback:
So it’s been about 4 months now but I feel like people need to know what a terrible hospital this is. I was pregnant and had to be induced I was about a week late. For one the nurses are terrible, their bedside manner is horrific. I really didn’t want to get the epidural but things were taking a while it had been about 36 hours and I was having off the chart, five minute long contractions so I finally gave in. The first guy that came to do the epidural was very rude, tried to make my fiancé leave the room, stuck me 3 times AND DIDNT EVEN GET IT IN. As I’m laying there flailing around in the bed the nurse says “just press the button for more epidural.” I shouldn’t have been able to move in the first place so they should have known something wasn’t right but I just kept pressing that button and flailing around some more. It took them TWELVE hours to realize that the epi was just leaking out into the bandage and then it was another 2 hours before the other anesthesiologist could make it to my room. Because apparently they only have one anesthesiologist on the weekends and she was in surgery. And on top of all of that after it was all over and we were in recovery we ordered some food to be brought up and the bread on my sandwich was moldy and my milk was expired. I honestly don’t care if I’m dying I will NEVER and I mean ever go back to Lakeland hospital.
