I went to this Lab about two weeks ago for the second time in about a year. I thought the automated check in system was really advanced. It is a good strategy for a lab that is staffed with one person who is working with patients in an examining room with no receptionist. I had seen similar set-ups in the Social Security office. I had no problem with it. An older man who came in and who was clearly distressed and not tech savvy had a hard time with it. The lab tech was short with him when he interrupted the test to ask about a service that was not available at that site. I felt bad for him and for her. The tech was great with me, very professional and proficient. Clearly a highly experienced person.
