This lab needs to retrain it’s employees. Today I was the first person along with another woman to enter the lab at 7am. The lab tech opened the door promptly at 7 but right away you can see it was not a good morning for her. She told me to sign in, I signed in and sat down. Within 30 seconds she walked over, said my name and walked in the back room. I looked over at the woman that was also waiting and said, do I follow her back there. We both looked at each other with confusion. I waited until she came out of the back room considering I couldn’t see her and didn’t want to assume to just go in and find her. She popped her head around the corner and said I’m here. Again, I immediately can tell this tech is not happy, not pleasant and having a bad morning. We stood at a computer and she said what do you have, I hande her the slip from my Dr. She asked me for insurance and I said I’d be paying out of pocket today. She looked at the Dr’s order and read one part but couldn’t read the 2nd part. I asked, ok what do I do? Meaning, should I call my Dr, tell me what I should do. She came back with, Sir I don’t know what your gonna do but I can’t read this so I don’t know what to tell you! And it wasn’t in a calm, friendly manner. She had nastiest attitude I’ve ever seen when dealing with medical personnel. I suggest anyone in the friendly area of Myerstown PA find another lab or until this tech is no longer working in this Quest lab. Absolutely horrible experience!!!!
