Bait and switch hiring practices. They spam job sites like craigslist with "Staffing Specialist" job postings to draw in the most qualified candidates, but they have no intention of actually hiring people for those kinds of positions. You assume you are being interviewed to be their colleague, but then get a call claiming they put the recruiter position on hold, but they would be happy to get you as a client and set you up as a temp doing data entry for one of their clients. Then the next day, they post 2 more job postings for the "Staffing Specialist" position that supposedly got put on "hold." Classic bait and switch. A reliable and successful agency doesn't need to rely on deceptive hiring practices.
