Be careful if you move into a property handled by Reynolds & Company in Portsmouth. Jim Yount made the move to having these people handle his properties because he couldn't handle the issues that were coming up but things improved very little. My house would be as cold as 52 degrees during the day my first winter in the house with a pregnant wife. It took over a month to get the issue resolved. I dealt with countless insects (had to pay for my own bug traps) and even a rat in the house. Pipes in the basement would freeze up during cold days so no running water due to such poor insulation in the basement. This same insulation caused me to have to pay for extra heating costs from so much cold coming through the floor (60 degree floor while 78 degree temperature towards ceiling) my entire time living there. All the way til the end the shower could form ice on cold days, they tried to insulate just the shower (not the whole basement like it needed) but that didn't resolve the issue.After I was already moved out of the house (just using it for storage), I tried to turn off the gas for heating (this was May, there was no need for heat) but Reynolds prevented the cancellation forcing me to pay over $180 in unused gas. They didn't even bother to give me a call to tell me they were doing this!
