Not a company to work for.Unless you want to face discrimination or prejudice against those that are Transgender. Or your skills.Was interviewed Monday by Securitas for Security Supervisor position for the Kaiser Permanente Hospital Santa Rosa, CA. As I am highly qualified ex SF military, ex Law Enforcement, ex Security Contractor for the DOD (Iraq and Afghanistan), ex nursing background, firefighter, EMT, ex Law Enforcement Instructor, ex Security Instructor, 17 years security background, Worked and commanded teams and worked hospitals and Security operations in the Qlympics, Iraq and Afghanistan and tons of other background. I felt like I was over looked by the Security Manager because of my background and since I am Transgender female.This is ridiculous that my qualifications highly skilled and qualified applicant of a Disabled veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan.Wasn't taken seriously for this position.And Discrimination which I have faced many times before till they noticed that I am Transgender. And there ignorance or prejudice has came into this. Which is sad.
