Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism in this company. I've worked in property management for over five years and have never dealt with such dishonesty. They informed their client (the landlord) who informed me (prospective tenant) that their inquiries are soft only, meaning it does not affect your credit, but the same day the check was run I received a notification that a new hard inquiry had been made on my credit. The landlord called them and they insisted it was soft, so I called and they told me the same, saying TransUnion had done something wrong. I requested a letter that I could submit to TransUnion with my request to have it removed, that statas the inquiry should have only been soft. "Absolutely, I'll get that right over to you!" I spoke with them twice more with them making the same promise and after several days I received a letter that simply included TransUnion's guidelines for inquiries. They refused to transfer me to that "lead investigator" after that letter was sent saying she "just stepped out" but would call me back. When I followed up again today the receptionist hung up on me. It's one thing to make an honest mistake, but admit to it (WHICH THEY DID) and do what needs to be done to make it right (WHICH THEY WON'T). I'll definitely be filling formal complains with the BBB, etc.
