I work for a small company that utilizes sequent for some of its HR needs. I requested enrollment to receive their dental insurance 13 days late. I explained to them that this was the first position I've held outside of the US Army so I was unaware of the rules and regulations guiding the enrollment process. I was instructed to write an appeal. I did and was told that my explanation of serving my country for the last ten years was not satisfactory. Not only have they turned me down for benefits, but they were condescending and rude in their emailed responses.
