I have the honored distinction of being Nick's very first client. As a young youth minister with my first real job, I didn't even know how to file a tax return. Nick was part of my leadership team and we became fast friends. I knew that he was a comptroller for a local business and figured he could give me some advice. So I asked him if he did taxes. He said, "I do my own". I responded, " Well, if you'll do mine, I'll pay you". Nick did his research and discovered that there were many tax advantages for pastors. He did my taxes that year and saved me a lot of money! Soon after that our entire staff was paying him to do their tax returns. The rest, as they say, is history. That was back in 1980 and I am still a client.
