I made an appointment weeks in advance of meeting, the websiteis quite impressive as was the newspaper article posted on the wall.I met with Nancy specifically I explained I had 0 income at the time.Expressed if she didn’t think she could take case to please not proceed.But no, she asked many questions.I answered and gave heradditional information regarding my harassment and hostility at workI was quickly told ,”I am not security,I will not take this case.”That was an easy 600$ for the office a waste of energy time etc from me.If youare in need of help,blue collar, a woman in a hostile work place remember they don’t do security

Faced an attorney who was more interested in the gossip and personnel at my place of employment. She never shared a possible conflict of interest on her part in taking my case, but was mighty eager to accept $600 for the consult and then shoved me off on a clerk.

LEGAL EXTORTION?? THIS FIRM IS ALL ABOUT MAKING YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE A CASE...THEY SEND A LETTER OUT IN HOPES OF GETTING A QUICK SETTLEMENT FOR THEIR CLIENT/YOU. THE LETTER STATES THAT THEY HAVE WON MILLION DOLLAR SETTLEMENTS ($4.565 MILLION PUNITIVE DAMAGE REWARD) ETC, ETC....THEY GO AS FAR AS MAKING FALSE STATEMENTS IN THE INITIAL LETTER, WITH THREATS OF LEGAL ACTION AND THAT WE SHOULD CONTACT THEM TO DISCUSS AN ACCEPTABLE RESOLUTION. THEY SIMPLY TAKE WHATEVER THEY HEAR FROM THE PLAINTIFF (THE PERSON WHO WALKS THROUGH THEIR DOOR) THEY THEN TRY TO EXTORT MONEY FROM THE DEFENDENT--USUALLY SMALL BUSINESSES. THEY GO AS FAR AS ACCUSSING INNOCENT SMALL BUSINESS EMPLOYEES AS PREDITORS. AFTER THE SMALL BUSINESS IS FORCED TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY TO DEFEND THESE FALSE CLAIMS (WHICH ARE WITHOUT ANY PROOF WHATSOEVER), THE SMALL BUSINESS OWNER IS THEN FORCED TO SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, AFTERWARDS THEY INFORM THE PLAINTIFF (THEIR CLIENT) THAT THEY (SMITH MULLINS) WILL REQUIRE A RETAINER TO MOVE FORWARD. IN THE MEANTIME, THEIR TACTICS ARE DISGRACFUL. I HOPE TO FILE A CLAIM TO THE NJ BAR BOARD OF ETHICS... I SINCERLY IMPLORE YOU TO BE CAREFUL .....
