I was in need of a CPA for my father's tax return, and given his unique situation, I wanted to make sure that the tax firm I choose is qualified to handle his tax return/had experience in such tax returns. I came across Sunshine Services Inc. and called them up. I spoke with the receptionist and explained what I was looking for. The receptionist took down my name and number and promised that Sheetal Prakash (owner) will call me back. About a week passed, and no one called me back. I thought they might be busy and gave them the benefit of doubt, and decided to stop by at their office, and make sure they were qualified to handle my father's tax return, and post that assurance, set-up an appointment. I went their earlier today, and spoke with the receptionist. She went back inside and huddled with Sheetal Paraksh for a few minutes and then came back and told me Sheetal would not talk to me and that I need to make an appointment. I again explained to her that I am ready to do that, just wanted to make sure that they have experience/are qualified to handle my father's unique situation. But to no avail. Meanwhile I saw Sheetal moving in/out of her room but she would not even look at me. Very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. In this day and age of customer advocacy, I find her behavior appalling. Maybe she is doing well for herself and hence does not care about new customers. I would stay away from Sheetal and her company. Truly disappointing.
