Valley Accounting bought out our tax guy a few years ago. We used Valley Accounting for two years. They don't go out of their way to give you any tax advice, tests fir sure. I basically prepared all the information and did all the leg work and they basically plugged in the numbers and charged us a lot of money. Both years we had to pay in. Never had that with our former tax guy. Again, when we would ask for advice on how to avoid paying g in the next year, they offered no advice. The second year, after filing taxes, we were contacted by the State MN saying our tax returns weren't received. Apple Valley was supposed to efile, but they made a mistake and hadn't efiled our taxes for whatever reason. And they also found mistakes that the original accountant hadn't caught. They refiled for us. Then State MN contacted us saying we got should have gotten a refund. Now I prepare my own taxes instead of paying them my hard earned $200.
