I dont normally give 5 stars. Jason is the best CPA we have ever worked with-business and personal. I have had tax attorney, enrolled agents, and CPAs, some charging as much as $500. per hour and Jason outsmarted all of them. They literally could resolve a tax controversy with the IRS over an 8 year period. I paid thousands of dollars and then met Jason, it took him 2 visits and one positioning statement to the IRS, and it earned us $60,000.00 correction. The best part is he seemed eager to "right a wrong" and enjoys fighting for people who are at a disadvantage with tax matters. He also is a super nice guy!

The staff at Waterfront CPA, particularly Michael, Jason, and Krista are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have a wide range of expertise which is absolutely necessary when you are growing a business. They go out of their way, even in the busy tax session, to accommodate my crazy schedule. I have had nothing but good and positive experiences with this accounting firm. I definitely recommend this company for all of your accounting needs.

-I had a horrible accounting experience with your office. It is listed as follows:-I was led to believe that a CPA would do my taxes.-At the first appointment, the financial planner (Michael Lizon) who was given to me instead of an accountant was extremely busy. Instead of discussing my tax preparations, he tried to sell me on his financial planning expertise. I said no which didn’t stop him. This is why the hour appointment turned into 2 and a half hours traveling 60miles in each direction.-He promised me that he would get it done before my trip. He did not. I rebooked the trip to accommodate him and made a couple of doctors appointments before I left since I had a two week period for the change. He again attempted to sell me on his financial services once again. I told him to just get the taxes done.-I called again and he informed me that this time he was completed, but wouldn’t tell me about the results. He told me to come in. He wasn’t completed. This visit took an hour and a half and missed my two doctor’s appointments.-He also tried to make me to come in again to pay in order to get a copy of my taxes because he could save me money by using him again. Why, because he is a Financial Planner?-I reported him to the managing CPA who read my taxes. Giving me a Financial Planner instead of being an accountant is called Bait and Switch. It is also misrepresentation chris didn’t disavow Michael’s actions (Chris Fraizer).If you don’t want to acknowledge this report, apologize and show accountability for this incompetence, then I will send the report to The Board of Accountancy as they would like to hear.

Jason is extremely knowledgeable with all aspects of tax preparation and planning. He takes a proactive approach and really listens to his clients. If you have rental properties he would be a great fit, as he is an experienced investment property owner too. Add to that his genuine sense of humor and all-around good manners and it would be hard to find a better choice for a CPA. A+

As a tax client and now an employee, I can confidently and honestly say, I would not be working here if I was not first treated with the utmost professionalism and respect. I am proud of this office and the work they do for the community and the celebrations they share in helping people... They genuinely love helping people. It's never about the money for these folks. Yes, they have bills to pay and paychecks to write, but they could be charging so much more for the services they provide. They're kind, funny, and genuinely good people. They've also made great strides to reduce paper waste and minimize impact on the environment. From someone who's been on both sides of the company, I HIGHLY recommend Waterfront CPA Group.
