This place isn't very professional and most of the staff is rude. I was placed at a company that paid well and was very close to home, So I took the job. I missed one day because I was in the hospital with a severe migraine, My husband called xcel for me because I couldn't talk due to they type of migraines I have, Xcel said fine no problem. The very next day I received a call from Xcel saying that your position has ended because you didn't call us and notify us you were missing work. I argued, but it went no where.

I worked through Xcel fot a company. I worked my 90 days. I was never late. I missed 0 days. I did a good job. The company wanted to hire me. Their offer was too low so I turned it down. I did a no call, no show because I quit. If I worked that day I would have been payed by the company. It would have been my 1st day with the company. Xcel says that I still worked for them and because I didn't give a 3 day notice my final paycheck is for minimum wage. I argued but that went nowhere.

Horrible horrible people! You go in because you need a already feeling desperate cause I'm not working and they treat you like your a nobody! I would rather starve than work through them!

I have never been to a temp agency before. I went to a couple of others first. The first was understaffed and really couldn't do anything for me and the second was closed. By chance I decided to go to Xcel and I am so glad I did. The staff were professional, very friendly and nice. I talked to 4 different people because they wanted to make sure I was given every opportunity to be placed in a job that fit my credentials. Thank you Xcel.

Place is a joke, was told to be there this morning at 10 to fill out paper work for a job and start monday. When I got there they had no idea what was going on, and asked if I was sure it was them, really cool glad I got my hopes up for a job!!! Two thumbs down
